In addition to the meticulous cleaning, polishing, and examination of your teeth, we also take the time to help our patients develop proper oral hygiene habits at home. We will evaluate your hygiene techniques and make adjustments to your routine where needed. If we feel that you are suffering from gingivitis or more severe gum disease, we may recommend gum treatments. These measures can be instrumental in preventing bone loss and helping you to keep your natural teeth.
When we belive your oral hygine can be improved we will recomend a change in your brushing habits. There are several different electric toothbrushes in the market. We have come to recomend the rotadent as we see a big improvement in our patients oral hygine after they use it. It is also extrmely helpful for patients with braces as you can see in the following pictures.
